Responsibilities
- Participate in fit/gap analysis to better understand clients business process, as needed
- Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with a variety of clients holding different organizational roles in identifying their business needs from the grant management system
- Analyze and determine client operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats
- Clarify requirements for other in-house functional groups to ensure the quality of the final deliverables
- Document and maintain requirement traceability
- Determines system utilization requirements by researching and testing systems
- Provide issue management for end-user problems and ensure a consistent high-level responsiveness and customer care
- Assist in the development and maintenance of a training curriculum, including manuals, handouts, and training aids
- Assist web-based and classroom-based training when necessary to end-users on the grant management system
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain policies, procedures, and technical information clearly and accurately
- Possess strong conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Comfortable working with technology, including web-based systems and Microsoft Office
Required Experience
- Working with software developers to resolve issues and implement solutions
- Basic understanding of SDLC lifecycle methodology and relational database concept
- Experience in gathering and engaging in business process analysis
- Confidence working with and interfacing with clients across different parts of the business
- Willingness to embrace technology and tools used to deliver high levels of service
Education Requiements
- Position requires a Bachelors Degree in an associated discipline
