Responsibilities
- Analyzes and evaluates complex business functions and processes of specific companies related to payroll, time management, employee benefits, position control, and human resources processing
- Interfaces with functional unit process owners and users to identify, define, and document operational needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of system access
- Defines and documents SAP Human Resources systems processes and transactions in support of business processes defined by business process owners
- Support conversion efforts for successful deployment of project
- Performs complex unit and integration testing for assigned modules from development to production, troubleshoots configuration and master data problems
- Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users and programming staff in the analysis, design, functional configuration, testing and implementation of SAP Human
- Resources and SAP Portal modules to ensure optimal system integration and performance
- Guides user testers from various business areas to complete high quality testing of assigned system modules
- Tracks and documents changes in complex functional and business specifications and writes detailed procedures that can be easily understood by end-users
- Provides technical assistance in training, mentoring and coaching professional and technical staff on matters related to assigned area
- Complete a variety of work assignments within structured deadlines
- Follow corporate project execution framework

Required Experience
- 4+ years experience in SAP HCM module with infotypes, objects, and tables specific to Org Management, Personnel Administration, eRecruiting, and Talent Navigator. Knowledge of Kiewit SAP implementation
- Understanding of the relationships between HCM, Time and Payroll transactions and tables
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources processes staffing, position control, talent development
- Expertise with data query/manipulation tools such as EpiUse, Microsoft Access, and LSMW
- Working knowledge of regulatory and statutory HCM related requirements especially I-9 processing
- Working knowledge of the construction and/or mining industries a plus
- Experience with Success Factors a plus
- Experience with Solution Manager based projects a plus
- Experience with ECC 6.0 Ehp7 preferred
- Strong knowledge of core human resources processes
- Knowledge in ESS/MSS in NetWeaver business environment a plus
- Knowledge of Nakisa talent visualization and org visualization
Education Requiements
- Graduation from a recognized four-year college or university preferably with a major in business administration, human resources management, computer information systems, management information systems or a related field
- 4 years of recent full-time paid professional level experience in the functional configuration, modification or maintenance of SAP Human Resources system
